The Ginsburg-Ingerman Overseas Student Program (OSP) at BGU offers a unique study abroad program, where students become part of Israeli society for a year, semester, winter, or summer.
Classes are taught in English, but students study Hebrew, participating in a six-week Hebrew ulpan. Unlike any other Israeli program, Americans and students from other countries live, study and socialize with their Israeli counterparts.
OSP offers concentrated tracks in:
Each area of study offers matriculating courses, individual research with a faculty member and the possibility of a unique volunteer opportunity with the University's extremely popular and successful Community Action Unit.
OSP emphasizes integration with Israeli students and immersion in Israeli society. Students share apartment suites with Israeli students in BGU's dorms, which maximizes contact with Israelis and contributes to fluency in Hebrew. International students are fully integrated members of the BGU student body and have access to all student facilities.
Whether you're a graduating high school student looking for a gap year program, or a college student seeking an Israel study abroad experience, BGU's OSP has an exciting, informative and unique program for you.
