Ayalim Village
The Ayalim student-run association is a modern example of the pioneering spirit that helped build the State of Israel in its early days.
Through social action within Israeli communities, Ayalim offers its members a unique experience to serve as agents of change in disadvantaged neighborhoods in Israel's peripheral development towns. You will have the unique opportunity to live and work in one of these villages.
Spread out in the northern and southern areas of the country, Ayalim counts 11 student villages as part of its organization and has over 500 resident-students volunteering in Ayalim-run community centers for families, children and at-risk youth, as well as in collaborative projects with local middle and high schools. Ayalim works hard to create strong connections between students and local communities, thereby growing and expanding the peripheral areas.
