Israeli Art and Architecture Tour
Join us May 8 - 13, 2012 and experience Israel like you never have before.
Explore today’s vibrant, dynamic and award-winning art and architecture scene. Organized in cooperation with BGU’s Department of the Arts, this five-day adventure will take you to Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, the Galilee and the Negev and will include:
- Meetings and studio visits with a range of artists including painters, sculptors, architects, photographers, and ceramicists
- Personal encounters with artists from diverse backgrounds including established and prize-winning veteran artists and young and emerging ones; native Israelis and immigrants; women and men; and Bedouins and Jews
- Meetings with respected curators
- VIP tours of new and noteworthy buildings of architectural significance and interest including the Design Museum in Holon and the just-opened new wing of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art
- BGU faculty scholars who will offer talks and insight throughout the tour
- Wonderful company, conversation and cuisine
